About the ClubJust over one hundred years old, the Sussex County Croquet Club, or simply "Southwick" to the thousands of players who have visited it over the years, offers outstanding facilities for the playing of croquet. The Club is affiliated to The Croquet Association and its eleven lawns have hosted the European Association Croquet Championship and the World Golf Croquet Championship. Each year the Club is the principal venue for the Inter-County Association Croquet Championship: the most prestigious UK tournament, it is the largest croquet event held anywhere in the world.
